A keynote speech entitled ’Data science and statistics’ was held by Renáta Németh on 19 October 2018 at the meeting of the Clinical Biostatistical Society discussing the paradigm of ’big data’ methodology and its relation to ‘classical’ statistics. The discussion was focused mainly on biostatistical relevancy of the subject.
